Stoneware incense box / kogo (used in Japanese tea ceremony). Faceted square box with canted corners. Painted with abstracted design autumn leaves. In iron red and and light and rich green glaze, some surfaces with grey glaze. Or unglazed, it's so naive shape and decoration with a so natural beauty, the base unglazed.
