It is a total of 30 with 49 beads. The materials are Cinnabar, Lacquer, Wood and probably Horn as well. Ojime are intricately carved beads that were traditionally used in Japan as a sliding bead on a cord to hold together the inro box worn by men as part of their traditional attire.
