Well made bamboo shape handle, the ceramic body is heavily potted in translucent fine porcelain, then fired in clear celadon glaze, you can see a light blueish green hue from the glaze which is not from the blue under glaze cobalt paint. Studio lighting is rather hush, the set looks finer under natural light as the translucency of porcelain can be better appreciated. Signed with Artisan / potterys mark: Toseiken yoshizo-zo, circa late Edo early Meiji Period. Teapot 9cm in height, 8.5cm diameter, 15cm wide (include spout).
A small chip to one side of the teapot (please see photograph) and a subsequent hairline to the same side (but a very fine hairline thats not affect the structure integrity or general visual beauty of the set).
