Rare Vintage Japanese Shakudo Crane Bird Meiji Locket Pendant

I do not have any information with regards to the jeweler or designer of this lovely piece of clearly defined Japanese history. However, considering the Meiji era in Japanese history which extended from the year 1868 thru 1912. As jewelers designs and styles sometimes overlap in date. I can safely determine that it is very, very, old and made by any one of the distinguished jewelers of the era. Highly polished silver tone applied to a Shakudo ground. Locket has a hinged bracket style mount with a large golden O ring bale that opens and closes.
Inside center of the locket is a round glass pane so that you can place your memory inside. There is no jewelry hallmark. Pre-Owned, The snap closure is secure.
Pane is NOT cracked and it is scratch free. I consider it to be in very good condition with minor surface wear that is consistent with aging. Please use your own knowledge of this item.
