Extremely Rare & Charming Imperial Japanese Meiji 19th Century 1890s Silver Gold Diamond Dragon Ring Fully hallmarked (last image), mark for Asahi Shoten (Rising Sun) and K9 for 9 carat gold. Weighs approximately 5.4 grams. Designed for a finger of approximately 17.5 mm (11.3/16 of an inch) in diameter US 7 1/4, British O 1/2, fits on my pinky so it should fit on most average size ladies fingers, regardless should be considered a museum quality collection and better for simply display as a Meiji Imperial Japanese Jewel. I have a set of cufflinks by the same artist and jewelers, they are also incredibly charming considering the miniature size and details! So if you love Meiji dragon coins then these precious creations are better than a match, since coins are meant for mass productions and these beauties if not one of a kind then at most would be produced at a very limited edition perhaps ten or less, but I have not yet encountered another, have you?
This charming dragon is holding the diamond in one of his or her front claws, now how cool is that! Diamonds represent purity as well as eternity and the stars, so this dragon is holding much power! A dragon ring from a culture and time when dragons were still considered sacred and relevant, thus a museum quality dragon! Feel free to check out my other Museum Quality Collection!
