The whole case's outer surface is covered in dark burgundy red enamel/lacquerwith a fan-shape design on the case's front depicting a flyby kingfisher with a fish in its beak over some green blades & a speckle golden background.

Smooth & shiny interior with a spotty & still tense spring-loaded retainer, unmarked. Last picture shows an exceprt (not included) about the elaborate Sempoh lacquering process. 3.4"86mm H(igh) x 4"101mm W(ide) x 0.4511mm T(hick), case weighs 160gr.

Very good with a few light scratches & losses the worst is circled (about 0.15'3mm) on the back corner. (paulonia) qooden box as shown. To minimize disappointment & to avoid un-necessary costs, however, please ask questions before purchasing.
