Antique c1900 Meiji Period Japanese or Chinese bronze cloisonné vase sculpture. One side has the beautiful floral pattern with orange and pink chrysanthemums and leaves as the other side has a single butterfly. Bottom and rim are bronze or yellowish bronze. Cloisonné is either silver or black. The opening has a bronze insert that can removed (see photos).This vase is over 100 years old! Rare to see one side as only a butterfly and the other as a floral scene. This vase has NO CHIPS. Mild stress lines (see photos) Has normal scuffs, scratches, other wear on exterior, bottom and top from age and use.
