Japanese Satsuma Moriage Immortals Porcelain Ginger Jar 1920's Japan Taisho Era
The jar depicts Goddess Kannon Bodhisattva and 7 Rakans enlightened disciples of Buddha with fine details in orange, blue, green, beige with gold accents. It is made of fine porcelain and features the Moriage technique.
The jar is hand-painted, stands at 11 inches tall and is marked in red on the bottom with Japanese symbols. It is a beautiful and rare piece of Asian antique that would make a great addition to any collection. Excellent condition with no flea bites, nicks, chips, cracks or repairs. There is very minor wear on the upper portion of the lid.Otherwise no wear or paint loss. Please look closely at the photos as they are part of the item description.
