This Exceptional Find Displays a Remarkable Old World Craftsmanship, Rests in Shirasaya (Resting Mounts / literally "White Sheath", modern not Early Edo Period); Exquisite Well Styled Spear Blade Double Edged with Fuller Exhibits a Wonderful and Frosty Hamon (Temper Line) Wavy / Active and Visible Into the Tip with a Very Nice Offset Grain; Tang is Unsigned (Mumei) - Antique Quality Candidate Remains in Superb Polish Showing High Grain Appeal with the Blade Measuring 14 Inches, 29 3/4 from the Tip to the Top of the Tang, 42 1/2 with the Tsuka (handle) Mounted, and 43 1/2 Resting in the Saya - Fine. Condition as Photographed with minimal wear seen but a few small forging flaws can be noted, An Uncommon and Scarcely Seen Treasure without Question.
