Very Fine Vintage Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase w/ Iris - Unique Coloring - Excellent. A very beautiful antique Meiji cloisonne vase.

Finely crafted vase with iris in purple and white with green stalks. R wire, avoid body with unique high gloss red/orange ground. Pictures do not do this vase justice... This vase exhibits very high standard of fine Japanese hand craftsmanship. I estimate from the Meiji Period. The cloison detail work in silver wire is outstanding and was certainly performed by a master of Japanese cloisonne. This antique vase is in excellent original condition. No cracks, repairs, or dents. I don't see any flaws. Approximate size is 4 1/2 tall.
