Fine Pair Meiji Period Japanese Silver Wire Cloisonne Enamel Vases Signed
Fine Pair Meiji Period Japanese Sil. Ver Wire Cloisonne Enamel Vases - Signed OTA, TAMESHIRO. A very beautiful wonderfully shaped antique Rare Pair Meiji cloisonne vases. Rare to find a pair in this condition. A'True' pair with scenes (but different). Extremely detailed Prunus trees with colorful flowers and foilage below, birds all around. Colors are brilliant and silver wire detail is outstanding. The ground color is high gloss black.

These vases exhibit very high standard of fine Japanese hand craftsmanship. From the Meiji Period, the cloison detail work in silver wire was performed by. OTA, TAMESHIRO, his specialty as.

A master of Japanese cloisonne. Nicely signed on base with the "Flower Blossom" mark of this artist. These antique vases are in excellent original condition. No cracks, repairs, or dents. There is what would call a "flea bite" on the shoulder of one and 1/4 white line at same spot, more like a scuff rather damage.

I got a good picture of it. Some normal wear to base. Approximate size is 4 3/4 tall.

Please see photos as an integral part of this description. Sometimes the camera catches what I don't. From my own personal collection, these fine vases would be an excellent addition to your own cloisonne collection. Please check my other auctions. I pack very promptly and securely.
