Fine Old JAPANESE CLOISONNE Multi-Colored TEAPOT-Silver-Wire on Copper-Dragon

The teapot is about 4 inches tall and 6 inches wide from spout to handle tip. It has a dark lapis blue enamel ground with numerous flowers, roundels and copper flakes. It has a ho-ho bird panel on one side and a dragon panel on the other. The body is copper, but the lid rims seem to be silver. There is a small circular mark on the foot rim, but it may not signify anything. Condition on the piece is good.

The finial is loose, and there are some minor enamel losses inside the lid around the nut. There are no body dents. A great piece of Japanese cloisonne.
