Fine Meiji Period Japanese Cloisonne Shishi Foo Lion Vase. Beautiful 19th century vase with unusual pattern. Each panel on the vase is topped with a stylized Shishi or foo lion. One panel has a white bird flying over flowers on a turquoise ground. The opposite panel has a stone ground with cloisonne flowers.

Beautiful floral medallion border in between panels. Small butterflies decorate the neck.
