Fine Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Silver Wire Enamel Vase w/ Basket Garden Scene. A very beautiful antique Meiji cloisonne vase. Finely detailed garden scene in beautiful colors in very detailed fine silver wire is exquisite. The vase is hexagon in shape with rare mid-night blue ground color.

Top and bottom geometric borders are the finishing touch. This vase exhibits very high standard of fine Japanese hand craftsmanship. The cloison detail work in silver wire is extremely fine and was certainly performed by a master of Japanese cloisonne in the Kyoto School style.

This antique vase is in excellent original condition. No cracks, repairs, or dents.

Near perfect with some normal wear to base. Large size approximately 9 1/2 tall. Please see photos as an integral part of this description. Sometimes the camera catches what I don't. From my own personal collection, this fine vase would be an excellent addition to your own cloisonne collection. All serious, reasonable offers considered. Please check my other auctions.
