Fine Japanese Signed Meiji Period Satsuma Incense Burner - Koro w/ Women & Buddhist Monks. Offered here is a beautiful and intricately hand painted, six-sided Satsuma Incense Burner. Each of the 6 panels shows a unique painting depicting complementing subjects.

Females are featured on 3 of the panels and monks are featured on 3 of the panels. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines. The bottom has a hand painted signature which I can't read. It measures 5-1/2" (14 cm) in height by 4" (10 cm) wide.
