A 5 piece setting of antique Japanese imari. Fine green, gold, red hand painted scenes of cranes and floral panels with a central under glaze blue dragon medallion. Scalloped rims with gold gilt. All marked in blue but can only read the fuku mark (last mark that is a cross within a box). All in fine condition with no chips, cracks...
Some loss to red on some plates, loss of gold gilt to rims on some pieces. Plate is 8 1/2 inches. Bowl is 5 7/8 inches. Tea cup is 2 1/2 inches in height and saucer is 4 1/2 inches.
Larger rice bowl is 3 1/2 inches in height and 5 1/4 inches in diameter. Smaller rice bowl is 3 1/4 inches in height and 4 1/2 inches in diameter. I have a huge collection that was most likely brought over after World War 2 to Seattle. Never ever seen a huge collection of the same pattern before.
