Fine JAPANESE EXPORT Meiji solid silver HUGE DRAGON in cloud FLASK. Signed c1900

This unique flask is heavily chased and pierced with a FIERCE FULL BODIED DRAGON IN CLOUDS. The dragon has 2 APPLIED HORNS. There is an inner screw top lid and an outer CHASED DRAGON screw top lid, this is used as a CUP (the interior is pure gold lined). There is an INTERIOR GLASS LINER. The pedestal base is signed to the underside c.

MEASUREMENTS : 7.25 inches (18.5cm) tall. The flask measures 4 inches (10cm) across at the widest point. CONDITION : GOOD CONDITION AND HOLDS SPIRITS WELL.

THE SCREW CAPS CLOSE NICE AND TIGHTLY. There is an original horizontal seam join were the neck meets the body of the flask. The base has a kink were the silver fits over the blown glass body. Please see my other auctions for more fine silverware.
