Japan Japanese warrior carved in the round in the form of a standing figure with furrowed brow framing his inlaid eyes, short curled hair, a short hakama, and a draped shawl, the figure holds a bo staff and has two holes in the bottom of its feet likely associated with a previous stand. Measures 2 7/8 X 1 5/8 x 1 inch with possible repairs to staff, age cracks, minor losses to high points and other expected age wear as seen in the images. Provenance The Hartman galleries Inc.
