Fine Early Japanese Samurai War Arrow, Edo Period, Probably Before 1800

Cane shaft with self nock. Brown over white fletching of the form shown on instruction manuals of the period, secured with black silk thread. Fine willow leaf form iron head crisp and bright with minor spotting only. Shaft a little age-darkened throughout, the fletching sound with the cardinal spine lacking the top.
