Fine Antique Japanese Silver Cigarette holder Ash Box, signed

This box is a fine piece of Japanese Silver. It is nicely etched with various scenes. The top is a light gniello and it has some detail highlighted with gold gilding.

The box is 3 15/16 by 2 7/8 by 1 7/8th inches. It weighs 196 grams with the lining taken out. The box does have some lacquered wood that was not removed.

With the copper lining it weighs 289 grams, which is the total weight of the box. The copper lining is to, of course, protect the box from the hot ashes. There is some minor dings ond one corner is slightly dented, but otherwise this is in excellent condition.
