FEATURING A WONDERFUL, ETHEREAL ANTIQUE MEIJI ERA JAPANESE 8 SIGNED PORCELAIN PLATE ARTISTICALLY DEPICTING A WINTER SCENE OF MAJESTIC SNOW CAPPED MT. FUJI WITH CLOUDS ROLLING IN. THE FOREGROUND IS A BRIDGE WITH SMALL HUTS ALONG A RIVER. FUJI IS PAINTED WITH RAISED ENAMEL, AS ARE SOME OF THE FROZEN RIPPLES IN THE RIVER. VERY SIMILAR TO THE HAND PAINTED FINE WORKMANSHIP ON SATSUMA.

ATTRIBUTED TO SETO WARE OR ANOTHER FINE JAPANESE PORCELAIN WORKSHOP FROM THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY. SIGNED ON THE BACK AND THE FRONT. NO CHIPS, CRACKS, DAMAGES OR RESTORATIONS.
