FINE ANTIQUE JAPANESE IMARI POLYCHROME ARCH HANDLE CHOSHI SAKE KETTLE POT TEAPOT. The arch-handled pot is decorated in an Imari palette of iron red, green, peach, cobalt blue, black and gold gilding over a light celadon under glaze. The design features landscape scenes and floral, leaf medallions with scrolling red and red accents and a floral motif around the lid finial. CONDITION - The pot is in fine, antique, pre-owned condition!

Some normal age/use wear, some crazing around the lower area, unglazed areas have darkened/soiled from age/use, no cracks, a little rough on lid edge, one old chip on underside of lid as shown, unglazed area on inside bottom as shown - Please look at photos as part of the description. SIZE - It stands approximately 5 1/2" tall to handle top, 3 1/2" wide. A fine antique Japanese sake pot to give as a gift, use yourself or display in your own home or collection!
