This is a stunning looking Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Charger Plate. This is a lovely looking piece that is in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips or restoration. There appears to be no damage to any of the enamel that I can see. There may be the odd small mark to the gold coloured rim, but nothing major. I believe that it dates from the Meiji Period of the 19th century.

The detail and intricacy of the enamel work on the face of the charger is superb. The photos on this listing don't really do it justice and it looks far better in real life. I cannot see any makers mark. It measures 12 (31 cms) in diameter.
