The piece was made in the Osaka region of Japan in the 1950's, and was made in a similar way to the Murano style. The vase measures a substantial 10.5" tall and 6" wide. The vase has an interior glass that is black, with a layer of colored splatter glass and silver flakes and specks throughout. There is a layer of clear glass atop the colored glass.
