Beautiful Antique Japanese Watercolor Village Landscape Signed & Framed, Fine

Up for sale is a beautiful early 20th century Japanese watercolor by the little known artist "Satta" as signed low left. This is a personal favorite painting of mine that I find incredibly charming and well executed. This village landscape shows a handful of Gassho-zukuri style (thatched roof) homes and is rather an empty scene outside of the single woman walking down the road. Wearing a wonderful blue and red kimono she is seen walking away as a handful of small birds can be seen overhead. In the near distance you can view a field possibly decorated with yellow flowers.

I particularly love the framing of the work as well in this narrow format with the painting framed measuring 14.5 x 5.5 inches. In overall good condition the work may just show some minor but expected toning.
