Kutani 21 Piece Dragonware Geisha Girl Lithophane Eggshell Tea Set. On offer is an antique/vintage Japanese Kutani 21 piece dragonware geisha girl lithophane eggshell tea set with moriage detailing. This set comprises of a teapot, 6 tea cups, 6 saucers, 6 side plates, lidded milk jug/creamer and lidded sugar pot. The geisha girl image is in the base of the tea cups and can be seen when held up to the light. Old Japanese tea set hand painted. You can see and feel the raised dragons and paintings when you touch over the pattern.

Full size egg shell tea cup made of very fine, delicate bone china which is very transparent, almost feels like glass. If you hold the cup towards the light the geisha stamp will appear like painted portrait inside of the each tea cup. In great condition for the age. Has some signs of wear and fade on the gold trim but no cracks, no chips no repairs.
