It has extensive use of fine gilt line work and dates to the late Meiji or Taisho period (early 20th century). No marks, probably from the Kyoto area.

Crazing which is intentional on Satsuma ware. Some gilt wear, most obviously to the lower portion. Height: 16 cm (6 1/4 inch). Width: 8.5 cm (3 1/4 inch). Weight: 368 grams (before packing).
