Here we have an absolutely beautiful Meiji-era Japanese green foiled cloisonne vase. It stands at about 7.5 inches tall. Its true beauty is shown when under a direct source of light. The green foiling really just makes the entire piece that much more unique and breathtaking. This vase depicts two cranes or stork birds interacting with one another. One is standing and one is flying above. There is a large floral theme, and has yellow butterflies flying around the piece. Very intricate designs done near the top of the lip and the bottom of the base.
