Antique 1800's FINE Edo/Meiji Japanese IMARI Fine Porcelain Deep Plate Bowl. Here is a superb antique deep plate or bowl, made of fine white porcelain. All hand decorated with traditional Imari enameled ornamentation, with four panels surrounding a central medallion and rosette. Polychrome ornamentation on underside as well.
Marked on bottom with the four-character Fuki Choshun mark, in underglaze blue, meaning "Riches, Honors and Everlasting Youth" (akin to the Chinese Fu, Gui, Chang Chun mark).
