A beautifully detailed miniature Japanese. Of cylindrical body standing on small, elegantly crafted feet, giving it an elevated appearance, hand-painted with polychrome enamel and gold details, decorated with circular and heart-shaped reserves, each depicting finely detailed scenes of scholars, noblemen, women and children engaging in traditional activities on a dense floral background in shades of green, gold, and white, creating a rich tapestry-like effect.

Borders feature a classic Greek key (meander) pattern in gold, adding symmetry and structure to the design. The signature is worn out but visible under magnifying glasses.

In good condition commensurate with age.
