A VERY NICE JAPANESE CLOISONNÉ PAIR OF VASES WITH IRISES. A fine pair of Japanese cloisonné enamel vases of baluster shape masterfully worked in silver wire and colored cloisonné enamels and decorated with irises on a sky blue background. Shakudo riims and white metal foot. Probably from Hayashi School, circa 1890. In good overall condition commensurate with age, no loss or repair some minor surface scratches and tarnishing.
