1910s Antique Gold Filled Japanese Gibson Girl Locket, F&B Pat Jewelry

Here we have a stunning and extremely rare. Round gold filled locket featuring an extravagant repousse Geisha!!! The Japanese woman has a lovely profile, with her hair loosely pinned up, and a blossoming flower behind her. The interior of the locket contains both original bezels and inserts, ready to hold and protect your special photos.

The back of the locket contains three initials, which look like they could be LMC. Nside of locket is signed "F&B Pat" for Foster & Bailey. Company was founded in 1873 as White & Foster.

The name became Foster & Bailey in 1878 & was changed to Theodore W. Firm was based in Providence, Rhode Island and stayed in business until the 1950s. 28 x 23 mm (including bail). This beautiful rare piece is in a very good condition. Locket opens and secures as it should.
