Large photos under the description below! A beautiful & attractive large STRONG iron sukashi Tsuba.

3-1/2 in diameter & in beautiful condition! Jidai (era) : mid- Edo period 18th century. Sizes : 3-1/2 round or 89.27 mm x 5.32 mm at seppa-dai & 6. 36 mm thick at the rim.

Material : well forged iron, with fine tekkotsu " iron bones " on & all around the edge! Well forged fine iron plate with a beautiful & very attractive. Carving relief motif design of " basket weaves " in to the space. The plate exhibit a beautiful deep & rich dark chocolate brown patina.

The 2 Hana's are plugged in black shakudo. Condition : good color & in good condition with no damage!
