A fine & beautiful strong big iron Katana Tsuba. Katana sized, 80.04 mm or 3-1/8 round, g reat for mounting or collecting! Jidai (era) : Momoyama period circa 1570's.

Material : well forged fine iron sukashi Tsuba with a beautiful & well balanced elegant. Sukashi design composition in to the space , beautiful design & beautiful patina. Beautiful color / patina, A rich & deep old black / brown Urushi lacquer over the iron mix with the deep dark black chocolate brown iron-patina. Create a superbe very old texture & organic feeling. Plus gold-vire inlay's surrounding the sukashi on both side.

Sizes : 82.21 mm x 81.86 mm. Thickness : 3.77 mm thick at seppa-dai / center.
