Paper lanterns with horizontally corrugated shades, those often seen hanging in front of. Establishments in Japan: the ovoid alongated round lanterns with wooden handles & 3 long feet. Both are identical except the top outlet holes (fewer & larger for pepper), with vised tops for refill.
