Fine Beautiful Miniature Meiji Japanese Ginbari Cloisonne Enamel Vase - Signed. A very beautiful five sided antique miniature. Cloisonne vase with design white heron in tree. Translucent pale green enamel background over silver foil. Brass top and bottom rims with wonderful patina from age.

This vase exhibits very high standard of fine Japanese hand craftsmanship. Signed on base "Maru-dai", an unverified artist mark, dating to the Golden Age Period. This antique vase is in excellent original condition. May be a couple clean short hairlines right at base.

Almost imperceptible with naked eye and could not get to show in photos. Normal wear to base rim. The recurring white spot is flash.

Cabinet size at approximately 2 1/4 tall. Very solid, well made five sided vase. Please see photos as an integral part of this description. Sometimes the camera catches what I don't. From my own personal collection, this fine vase is gorgeous in hand and would be an excellent addition to your own cloisonne collection.
